M. Chandler Rodbro

M. Chandler Rodbro studied English in Oxford.  He often finds poetry in the darkness of his crippling depression.  His work can be found on street corners throughout the Western Hemisphere.  He lives throughout greater Cincinnati.

Wet

I started in the basement because it was easy.
You told me,
clean it up and it will be fine.
And it was,
until you asked me to move upstairs
to rearrange the furniture,
and to stop dreaming,
but that didn’t take.
So I am resigned
to the sleeping porch,
staring out the leaded glass,
trying to sort out rooms.
